Our new release, Maya, is very close to our hearts. It’s our most comfortable high heeled shoe yet, thanks in part to our patented 3-Step System, but above all because of the repositioned heel, a completely new silhouette for Stinaa.J.
By moving the heel directly under the heel bone, the lever effect that usually occurs when the heel is placed further back is reduced.
Biomechanical studies show a reduced load on the forefoot by up to 30–35% compared to a standard heel placement. This means a more even distribution of pressure across the entire foot, which reduces the risk of overload injuries.
Together with the shock-absorbing materials and memory foam in the orthopedic insole, Maya becomes a high heel shoe that is as comfortable as it is stylish. It is also wider at the front than many of our other shoes. A true collaboration between fashion and orthopedics.
